Crop improvement:

Padmini, Shekhar, RLC 153 and RLC 165 varieties
are recommended for Utera situation of Assam
·
T397 variety is also recommended for Assam.
Crop management and crop protection:
·
Intercropping of Linseed + Lentil (3:3) was
recommended as remunerative over sole crop.
·
Optimum sowing time for higher yield of linseed
was recommended as mid Oct to mid Nov.
·
Apply auxin at vegetative and reproductive stage
@ 2.0 ppm as plant growth regulator was found to be best treatment for
recording higher seed yield.
·
Rice-Linseed crop system give more profit (Rs.
26101/ha) when the system was fed with phosphorus @75% P+PSB (seed inoculation)
to Sali rice and 75% to linseed.
·
Nutrient management through exogenous
application of two sprays urea @ 2.0% + Znso4 @0.5%
at vegetative and reproductive stage under utera condition of linseed for
maximum yield and economic returns.
·
Soil application of Znso4 @ 25 kg/ha and borax @
1.5 kg/ha at the time of sowing is recommended for higher seed yield.
·
Straw mulching @10t/ha was found effective for
conservation soil moisture in rainfed.
·
Fertilizer application to Rice-Linseed crop
system @75% NPK + FYM 3t/ha + PSB to rice and 75% NPK + seed inoculation with
Azotobacter and PSB to linseed could fetch higher net return
·
Seed should be treated with Benomyl and
Carbendazim @2g/kg of seed or Captan or
Thiram @3g/kg of seed before sowing.
·
Suitable crop rotation should be followed for
wilt affected area.
·
For effective control Alternaria blight and
higher seed yield seed treatment with salicyclic acid at 100 ppm + foliar spray
of salicyclic acid at 100ppm at 30 and 45 DAS is recommended.
