  • • 74th.meeting of Central Sub Committee on Crop Standard, Notification and Release of Variety for Agricultural Crops held under the Chairmanship of Dr. J.S.Sandhu ,Deputy Director General (Crop Science), ICAR on 12th.April 2016 notified a midlate maturing sugarcane variety Doiyang of Assam Agricultural University for North Eastern Zone.

    . Associated with the development of sugarcane varieties CoBln9101,CoBln9102,CoBln 9103,CoBln9104 and CoBln9605 which were recommended for cultivation in Assam and were included in Package of practices(Kharif).

    . Associated with notification of Padmanath and Panindra ,bao varieties of Assam and national identity numbers were received in 2006.
