Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science is headed by I/C HOD cum Associate Professor, Dr Himangshu Baruah. Currently, the department is having three faculty members including I/C HOD Dr. Himangshu Baruah, Dr. Sanjib Khargharia and Dr Snigdha Hazarika, Assistant Professor. The department is currently offering the course of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in third professional BVSc & AH program of credit hour 5 (4+1). Additionally, the department is involved in several activities including training for farmers, organizing seminars, extension activities as well four externally funded project for research cum infrastructure development of the institute out of which one project is already successfully completed.
