Achievements
  • Conducted UG classes as Course Leader of Hort-213 & Hort 222 and as Course Leader of PG courses of FSC-507, FLA-502. FLA-50 3, FLA- 506 & FLA-507). Guided 10 PG students as Major advisor and 19 students as member, Advisory Committee.
  • Four students of M. Sc. (Agri) qualified ICAR-NET out of them one in Floriculture and Landscape Architecture and three in Fruit Science. Set question paper for College of Horticulture & Forestry, CAU, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, College of Agriculture, CAU, Imphal, Manipur As External examiner for UG and PG courses in College of Horticulture & Forestry, CAU, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh
  • Delivered 76 numbers of lectures in training programme as Resource Person, organized 14 numbers of training programme for farmers, farm women, SHG in Kamrup and Biswanath districts. Participated 3 radio talks broadcasted by AIR, Haflong and one TV programme telecasted by DDK, Guwahati. Published 10 numbers of popular article related horticultural crops and post harvest management practices, 4 numbers of practical manual for UG courses and one training manual. Prepared DPR for an amount of Rs. 50.38 lakh for Tsungthi-Yo-Than Society, Nagaland in 2005.
  • As Lead Scientist i technilogy mission for horticulture in production of quality planting material and production technology of flower crops. Recomendation for management of sclerotial wilt and leaf blight of tuberose in package of practices for Horticultural crops.
  • Successfully completed one ICAR ad-hoc project as Principal Investigator Awarded ICAR-JRF for pursuing M. Sc. (Agri) in Horticulture from 1988-1990 and ICAR-SRF for Pursuing Ph.D. in Horticulture
  • Acted as Warden for Girls Hostel No. 1 & 2 consecutively for 4 years from 2012, Involved as Prof. in-charge of Girls' Common Room, Students Union for 4 years from 2013
