Achievements
  • Joined as Programme Assistant (Computer Programmer) on 10-10-2001 at KVK, Cachar. Worked as SMS (Soil Scence) at KVK, Dhemaji and KVK, Darrang from 10-11-2008 to 30-11-2021. I also acted as In-charge Sr. Scientist & Head, KVK, Darrang from 03-11-2018 to 23-03-2021. During my tenure as SMS (Soil Science, I conducted more than 121 numbers of training programme to F/FW, RY and EFs of both the districts. I also conducted 42 numbers of OFTs, 15 nos. of MLTs, 6 nos. of CFLDs and 64 numbers of FLDs respectively of various technologies developed by AAU, Jorhat. I actively participated in the implementation of CFLD programmes on oilseeds and pulses. Involved in soil testing and Soil Health cards preparation and distribution programme of the same. I was also associated in participatory Rural Appraisal of various villages of both the districts for implementation of KVK activities. I was involved in preparation of Vision Document of Dhemaji District, Darrang district, SREP of Cachar district. I was actively involved in implementation of TSP programme in the Udalguri district and Technology Showcasing programme in Darrang district during 2012-13. I also implemented DAPSP programme for SC people of the Darrang district. Implemented Krishi Kalyan Abhijan Pase I and Phase II. Attended Global Conference on Women in Agriculture at IARI, New Delhi during 13-15 March, 2012. Attended training at NIPHM, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on Pest Surveillance from 29 Aug., 2011 and on “Integrated soil nutrient and weed management and ecological engineering from 4-16 December, 2013. Participated 18 numbers of exhibition including two numbers of International Exhibition at IARI, New Delhi.
  • Participated in more than 18 nos. of exhibitions including three numbers of International Exhibition at Guwahati and New Delhi. Acted as Programme Supervisor of the RAWE programme in 2018-19 and 2021-22 and also as Chairman of Group Advisory Committee of RAWEP, 2018-19 at KVK, Darrang.
