  • 1. Edited three number of books viz
     Meen Hatputhi ( Assamese)
     Advance in Fish Diagnosis and Fish Health Management
     Handbook of Fisheries and Aquaculture
    2. Written five numbers of course manual for undergraduate program viz-
     Laboratory manual on packing technology
     Laboratory manual on Microbiology
     A manual on Freezing Technology
     A course manual on Fin fish Taxonomy ( Vol-1)
     Diagnosis of Fish Disease and Health Management
    3. Published 20 numbers of research paper in national and international journals.
    4. Guided two number of MFSc students and at present another 3 number of PG students and one number student are working under my guidance.
    5. Written more than 15 numbers of book chapters and more than 25 number of scientific articles
    6. Successfully completed one ICAR Ad-hoc scheme on “Immunomodulatory effects of chemicals used in Aquaculture on Indian major carp (Labeo rohita) as PI and working as Co-PI in another two externally funded projects viz-
     National Surveillance Programme on Aquatic Animal Disease
     Scientific Conservation Programme of Indigenous Fish
    7. Conducted 13 numbers of Matsya Mitra training programme of 15 days duration, each batch consisted of 20-30 numbers of matsya mitras
    8. Published “Package of Practices” (POP) in Fisheries and Aquaculture as Co-ordinator in 2017 9. Received best teacher award in 2007 conferred by Professional Fisheries Graduate Forum (PFGF) 10. Received first poster paper award given by local unit of Association Microbiology of India (AMI) during the Annual Conference of AMI held at IIT, Chennai, from December , 4-6 ,1996 for the poster entilted" Effect of yeast glucans on the immune response of Indian Major Carps''
Projects
  • NFDB, Hyderabad sponsored project on "National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Disease", project cost Rs.75.96 Lakh implemented in 2014.
  • Govt. of Assam sponsored project on "Current status of ichthyofaunal diversity in Brahmaputra and Barak Valley of Assam and creation of Live Gene Bank (SCoPIF-1)", project cost Rs.936 Lakh implemented in 2018.
  • ICAR sponsored project on "Immunomodulatory effects of chemicals commonly used in aquaculture under poly culture system on Indian Major carps", project cost Rs.6.38 Lakh implemented in 2001.
